Karachi,Used by All owned by None!!!
Karachi,Used
by All owned by None!!!
We have seen the condition of Karachi just after this
huge rainfall. No doubt, it was worst monsoon
in last couple of decades.
Below are some lessons and facts for the whole
Pakistan.
1. There is no ownership of the city in spite of the fact that people voted for the same ruling party which is in federal Government.
2. City is the single biggest contributor to national economy.
3. 3. People did not see any special resolution for Karachi disaster management in
the Sind assembly.
4. . This city always participates
in all past national disasters; earthquakes, and suffered a lot in war against
terrorism from decades.
5. .The local body Government authorities were not given to city by provincial Government.
6. . People observed NGO’s
helping people during this distress and no civil administration available, later
Pakistan army came for support.
7. . The city is under rule
of many mafias which brought the city to this level like, land mafia, transport mafia, water tanker mafia, school mafia,
hospitals mafia, milk mafia, vegetable
mafia, kidnaping and ransom mafia, illegal construction mafia, beggar mafia and corruption mafia in local and provincial
governments.
8. . Any development in the city which contradicts the interest of above mafias,
result a social dis order in the city.
9. . City administration
is consist of people on the basis of political affiliation
only.
10. Karachi is still a mini Pakistan, people residing here from all
corners of the country.
11 The residents of Karachi are peace loving and sincere
for the development of the country as a whole.
12. During this distress rainfall period many anti Pakistan thoughts tried again to mislead residents of Karachi in trusting the
country, but again they failed. Because
city is resided by mostly politically well educated people.
13. All political parties tried to play their part to help out
people, but simultaneously people also observed blame game among all political parties over Karachi issue.
14. If this city remain disturbed, it means the overall
development of Pakistan will be disturbed and this the ultimate motive
of anti- national thoughts.
15. City need its own administration, not the one which is imposed
by the province.
16. There is the worst urban verses rural gap in
Sind, due to policies of the government.
No such gap exist in all other provinces.
17. Need to spread a thought
that “Karachi is for All”.
18. Need to engage local
people in administration, like Dr. Adeeb
Rizvi, Mufti Taqi Usmani, Mr. Moinuddin Haider.
19. Its time for the federal
Government to correct the local administrative
system of Karachi.
20. If any Government fix Karachi issue, an overall social welfare will emerge in the
country, resulting in a rapid economic
progress.
22 My special thanks for those artists who sketched city problems in the pictures used in this articles.
